Events

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) campuses host a variety of events that inform, challenge, and unite the biomedical research community. IRP investigators lead or participate in many of these events, and they regularly present their work at scientific conferences at the NIH and around the world. We invite you to learn about (and possibly join us in) some of our upcoming events. Unless otherwise noted, times listed are Eastern Standard Time (EST).

2025 NIH Research Festival

NIH Clinical Center (Building 10)

NIH will hold its annual Research Festival September 9–12, 2025, in Building 10 on the NIH Bethesda campus. The event will feature lectures, posters, workshops, and a Green Labs Fair. Additional vendors will exhibit on September 11 and 12. A call for posters and an agenda will be posted in June.

Childhood Cancer Data Initiative (CCDI) Symposium

Join us in person or virtually for the Childhood Cancer Data Initiative (CCDI) Symposium on October 6 and 7, 2025. Hosted by the National Cancer Institute (NCI), the CCDI Symposium brings together the childhood cancer community to learn about CCDI programs and resources intended to advance research and clinical care— with the aim of fostering collaboration, innovation, and transformative strategies.

Registration is free and required in order to attend in-person or virtually. Online registration will close on August 7, 2025. On-site registration will not be available.
